The Swahili Coast is 1,800 miles long, and has been the main site for trading and exchanging goods and items for centuries. The earliest communities practiced iron-working (which was believed to be attained from the Nok) and they have kept the community thriving by hunting and fishing. The continuous traders from different places; China, Portugal, helped with the developement and thriving of the Swahili Coast.
